Letter to the Editor in response to recent Data shows inconsistency in Georgia dropout, graduation rates in AJC

Thank you AJC for your recent article "Student rolls don't add up." Our State officials have failed to do their jobs and now try to cover up the proof. The education system in our state is a disgrace despite valiant efforts of many educators, administrators, and parents. As a high school drop out I know the struggles those uncounted young adults now face. Its time to clean house at the Gold Dome and hold the leadership accountable for not doing their job. We must empower our most at risk students rather than let them fall through the cracks to fend for themselves in silence.
