I was asked to pass this on...

Urge Your Legislators to Lead Georgia into a Sustainable Future

The 2010 Georgia General Assembly began Monday. Georgia's conservation community has selected a few issues on which we will focus our shared efforts during this year's legislative session. Our common agenda, called Leading Georgia into a Sustainable Future, will ask legislators to:
* Accept No Rollbacks
* Meet Our Water Needs With Water Conservation First
* Secure Stable Funding for Transit
* Manage Water Effectively and Equitably for All

Problem:
Your legislators need to hear that the protection of Georgia's environment matters to you. They also need to know what steps they can take to positively impact Georgia's environment.

Solution:
Ask your state legislators to support the "Leading Georgia into a Sustainable Future" priorities.

* Accept No Rollbacks
* Meet Our Water Needs With Water Conservation First
* Secure Stable Funding for Transit
* Manage Water Effectively and Equitably for All
