So I was in my car and I so recognized it but could put my finger on who it was...

So what do I do... I email Lois Reitzes and ask her.
 
Haha! It was Rachmaninoff’s Variations on a Theme of Paganini. Jean-Yves Thibaudet was soloist. Vladimir Ashkenazy conducted the Cleveland Orchestra.
 
go enjoy one the the gifts of human civilization...  
 
 
it reminds me of back when I lived in Rancho Cordova, CA during whiking classes at American River College!
