Might my state senator not waste his time on this when he could be focusing on this:

Report: Georgia in top 10 states exporting guns used in crime
Gun-friendly South accounted for a disproportionate amount of the problem

Though a friend mentioned (if you pardon the harsh humor for a moment)that not using a holster has got to increase the likelyhood of shooting oneself. "I'm all for it" he laughed, "let the gun crazies get rid of themselves." I could only sigh in response...

The pathological need to "protect oneself" comes home to roost. sigh...
