What the difference between the State of GA and WA?

They can get things done in their state legislature.

The State of Washington faced a $2.8 billion deficit and 9.5 percent unemployment rate this session.  Even so they were able to pass a budget with including all-day Kindergarten, low-income health care program, childcare services, and funding for higher education.

Rather than being the party of no... the majority party in this state (Republicans) could have come together to make the tough decisions required of them.  Needless to say Republicans in this state have once again passed the tough decisions into the future as no matter how the last two weeks end the state of GA will remain with major structural budget problems.

Its bad to have your minority party be the party of no, as anyone can tell from whats going on in DC.  But when the party running your state is the party of no---well, its not pretty.
