I may be the only one talking about this but we as a state have to start coming up with a game plan to increase the pay of State Rep's/Sen...When you pay your state rep's less than a McDonald's cashier you are likely to get... well I'll let you decide for yourselves But I think we need to find ways to create incentive's more citizens to run for office... We need to increase the quality, which means we need to increase the pay....I for one think we have to get long term game plans for increasing gas taxes and increasing the pay of our Legislators are two topics no one will want to talk about but we should be... And before anyone flips out, yes their are quality, top notch legislators on both sides of the aisle... but if you can't pick out one or two that have no business being there, or don't notice the number of seats that go uncontested---well you just aren't paying attention...
