The short version?
- It should pass (despite flaws its much better than our current system---which is unsustainable anyways)
- It will pass (showing the Obama was right when he said he could get things done---passing health care reform is something that American Presidents have been trying to do for at least half a century)
Democrats are more trusted than Republicans on health care. So the fact that it passes assuming it does would be justified.
I think the debate internally at this point is mostly on who gets to vote no and who has to vote yes...and what they get from the president/pelosi for doing so.
Granted I could be wrong about all of this... but thats my guess.
