economic liberty... freedom... and the opportunity to make a better life for yourself and your familiy...

Economic liberty entails individuals having the capacity to make personal, financial, and quality of life decisions own their own without having those desicions obstructed by the whims of the market.  Equitable pay is an example of this, as better pay helps empower individuals to take control of their own lives without being forced to rely on the charity of others or the safety net of government.

Collective bargaining allows for individuals--and not government or businesses--to increase the wages of workers and bring their pay in line with the true market value of their productive output.  "An honest days work for an honest days pay," as my Grandfather always used to say.

Unions are the ticket for individuals to gain control of their own lives... the true essence of liberty.

Not a day goes by that I don't thank god for my union which has provided me the opportunity to work towards a better life for my family, go back to school to get an education, and provided the opportunity I needed to work towards a better future for myself...

CEPR, the Center for Economic and Policy Research, has a new study that once again empirically proves unions provide a better life for workers--contrary to what talking head entertainers like Glen Beck, Ivory tower intellectuals, or corporate funded think tanks try tell you...

A new CEPR study finds that unionization substantially improves the pay and benefits of immigrant workers. The report demonstrates a 17 percent increase in wages for immigrant workers versus non-unionized immigrant workers and a much higher likelihood that immigrant workers will have health insurance benefits and a pension.

Don't believe the propaganda---unions improve the lives of working families just like you and me...
