On the Economy

David Robinson from the inbox:
Voters worried about their jobs don't want to hear statistics -- they want action and results. BUT, when we're asked to talk about the economy to others -- and especially what Democrats are doing about it -- I think it gives us confidence to have knowledge about what's going on in the economy over time, not just a snapshot. To that end, I've added a section on employment/unemployment at www.pickensdemocrats.org/info/economy/economy.htm. (There's also a link on the home page, in case you look for it later.) I'll update the page periodically and may add other material. If you would like to see any other particular information, let me know. Note that trends are in the right direction -- job loses are diminishing and unemployment is peaking, which means the situation for the unemployed (or anxious still employed) should be improving.
