Lets face facts...
1) there will be a health insurance reform bill that will pass and be signed
2) the fiscal conservative position will be to pass the cheapest, most cost-effective, efficient bill possible

3)Fiscal conservatives support a strong public option so that tax dollars don't get needlessly wasted--we have a long term deficit problem people!!!
The Marxists and other Utopian ideologues of all political leanings can opine all they want. For the rest of us who have to live in the real world we have to take a more pragmatic approach.
